Rural Iran 03 Doorway

Iran's population has grown at a staggering rate. In 1900, there where 12million people, one third of whom were nomads. By 2000, the population was just under 80million and the vast majority live in 'new' cities of over a million people. However, in the smaller towns and the countryside the old fashioned buildings still survive and, to my eyes, look beautiful.
